When it comes to revenge, God is much be

When it comes to revenge, God is much better at it than we are. That’s because God looks down from heaven and sees all sides of every issue. He knows what is right and he knows who is wrong. So often our perspective is clouded and our judgment faulty. We see our side and only our side. But God knows all. And he will not forget to avenge the wrongs done to his children.

James Russell Lowell wrote these famous words:
“Truth forever on the scaffold, wrong forever on the throne.
Yet that scaffold sways the future and behind the dim unknown,
Standeth God within the shadow, keeping watch above his own.”
It seems that way today, doesn’t it? Truth on a scaffold, wrong on the throne. The bad guys seem to keep on winning. But it is true—and you can count on it—God stands in the shadows keeping watch above his own.

In the end, God always settles the score.
